Students in Aneisha Cunningham's Grade 3 class at Marlboro Elementary School recently showcased their creativity through a storybook pumpkin family project! The young Dukes selected a book of their choice and then decorated a pumpkin to match their book. It was a perfect blend of books and autumn fun!



MES students helped kick off Red Ribbon Week last week by wearing the color red in honor of the national drug abuse prevention campaign. The celebration continues this week with the following theme days:
10/28: Marlboro Dukes Are All Stars (Wear orange and black)
10/29: Star in Your Own Movie (Dress in what makes you feel your best)
10/30: Shine Bright (Wear bright or neon clothing)

This is a reminder that Thursday, October 31, is a Superintendent Conference Day and a half-day for students. Marlboro Middle School students will be dismissed at 10:20 AM, Marlboro High School students will be dismissed at 10:30 AM, and Marlboro Elementary School students will be dismissed at 11:20 AM.

It’s National School Lunch Week! We all know that nutritious meals fuel our Dukes' success, both in and out of the classroom, and this week highlights the importance of healthy school lunches. After all, research shows that students get their healthiest meals at school, and studies have proven that school meal programs play an important role in supporting obesity prevention, health, and academic achievement. The Marlboro Central School District is proud to provide lunch (and breakfast!) to all students at no charge. The arts are not just an outlet for creativity—they’re a vital part of learning that inspires innovation, builds confidence, and helps our students express themselves in new and exciting ways. We couldn't be more proud of our talented, creative, and artistic DUKES!

Come to Marlboro Elementary School on 9/3 from 5-6:30 PM for the PTA's "Chalk the Walk" event. Help decorate the front walkway of the school with positive messages and pictures to help start the year off on a bright note! (Chalk will be provided while supplies last.)
