Marlboro Elementary School Principal Jena Thomas and Assistant Principal Sarah Amodeo will be hosting a "Playground with the Principals" event on Friday, August 30. Come to the Grade 3-5 playground from 11 AM to 12 PM to spend some time with these two fun-loving administrators. What a perfect way to "swing" and "slide" into September!

Did you know? The Marlboro Central School District will be continuing to provide breakfast and lunch at NO COST to all students during the 2024-2025 school year. This is being made possible by the Community Eligibility Provision designation and funding granted to the District by the New York State Education Department. Bon appétit, Dukes!

Field Day Update: Due to the overnight rain, Marlboro Elementary School will be postponing today’s Grade 2-3 Field Day to tomorrow (Friday, May 31).

Marlboro Elementary School students and staff had a wonderful time participating in the town's Memorial Day parade on May 26. Their float even won "Best Theme!"

This is a reminder that the Marlboro Central School District will be closed on Monday, May 27, in honor of Memorial Day. In addition, Friday, May 24, is a snow day "give back" day and schools will be closed. Enjoy the time off and please keep in mind all those who served and sacrificed their lives in the armed forces.

The Marlboro community is encouraged to participate in the school budget vote and Board of Education election TODAY (May 21) from 6 AM to 9 PM, at the Town of Marlborough Court Room, which is located at 21 Milton Turnpike. MES students sang "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during the 7th inning stretch of the Hudson Valley Renegades game on 5/17. This was a great night out for our Dukes and their families. Thank you to the MES PTA for organizing this memorable experience!

Today is National School Librarian Day! Our library media specialists—Emily Soper, Kathleen McGee, and Maureen Stalter—expose our students not only to texts, print media, and literature, but to digital resources and technology, too. The work they do is nothing short of amazing!

The Marlboro Central School District Music Department is proud to announce that it has once again been awarded a "Best Communities for Music Education” designation from the NAAM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education! This is the fourth time that Marlboro has received this prestigious recognition, which is given to schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment to providing music access and education to all students. We are proud of the outstanding efforts of our teachers, administrators, parents, and students, who have made sure that music is part of a well-rounded education. Bravo!
