Taddeo received a Teaching Excellence Award, and Fulton was presented with a Golden Apple Award. These dedicated and hard-working individuals are integral members of our Dukes team, and they are more than deserving of this recognition. We were thrilled to celebrate them on this very special evening!


Happy National School Nurse Day! Today (May 7) we recognize the compassionate and skilled school nurses who play a vital role in keeping our students healthy, safe, and ready to learn. At the Marlboro Central School District, our nurses do so much more than care for bumps and bruises—they are trusted advocates, educators, and a constant source of comfort for our students and families. Mark your calendars! The Marlboro Central School District Art Department will be hosting an art show featuring work from students in Grades K-12 at the District Office, which is located at 21 Milton Turnpike. The opening reception will be held on Tuesday, May 20, from 5-7 PM. The show will remain on display until Tuesday, May 27. Be sure to come out and support our talented student artists!

Attention all students in Grades K-5! Hop on over to Marlboro Middle School on Friday, April 11, from 5:30 - 6:30 PM, for a FREE Easter Egg Hunt with the National Junior Honor Society!
There will be plenty of fun, including: face painting, potato sack racing, spoon racing, and of course, the big Easter egg hunt! This is a free event, but donations are always welcome. Don’t miss out—check out the flyer for all the details!


Marlboro Elementary School's Student Ambassadors in Grades 3-5 worked together to create a vibrant friendship display inspired by Maya Angelou’s words: “Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.” This beautiful rainbow, showcased in the main lobby of the school, highlights the key traits of a good friend—kindness, empathy, and support. A daily reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference! We’re so proud of our ambassadors for leading with heart!


It’s National Assistant Principals Week! Let’s give a huge shoutout to Marlboro High School Assistant Principal Anishbell Brennan, Marlboro Middle School Assistant Principal Demian Stanmyer, and Marlboro Elementary School Assistant Principal Sarah Amodeo—plus a special thanks to Edward Spence, who has been filling in as interim assistant principal at the High School while Brennan is on leave. Their leadership and commitment make a difference every day!

Don't forget that Parent/Teacher Conferences will be taking place throughout the District on Thursday, March 27, and Friday, March 28. As a result, there will be no school for Elementary School students ONLY on March 28. Middle and High School students will have a half day.

Congratulations to Marlboro Elementary School students Donovan Fiore (Grade 2), Lam Bui (Grade 3), and Vi Bui (Grade 4) on receiving awards for completing the 1,000 Book Project! Sponsored by the Marlboro Faculty Association, the 1,000 Book Project is a reading program designed to inspire children and caregivers to read 1,000 books together. To participate, children can visit the Marlboro Free Library or the Sarah Hull Hallock Free Library in Milton to borrow pre-made bags of books, each containing ten titles. Read the books, return the bag, and check out another!
