
Kudos to our Students of the Month for May, who were honored during last week's Board of Education meeting! Congratulations to Matthew Ciarimboli from Marlboro High School and Christopher Perkowski from Marlboro Elementary School. Marlboro Middle School's Student of the Month was not present at the meeting and will be honored next month. Additionally, Grace Cerone, Marlboro Elementary School's April Student of the Month, was recognized after being absent from last month’s meeting.

This is a reminder that the Marlboro Central School District will be closed on Monday, May 26, in honor of Memorial Day. In addition, Friday, May 23, is a snow day "give back" day and schools will be closed. Enjoy the time off and please keep in mind all those who served and sacrificed their lives in the armed forces.

While you're out voting today (May 20) at 21 Milton Turnpike, don’t forget to check out the Districtwide Art Show, on display throughout the hallways of the Central Office building. An opening reception celebrating our student artists will take place from 5-7 PM. The show, which features a wide variety of artwork created by students in Grades K-12, will be on view through May 27.

The Marlboro community is encouraged to participate in the school budget vote and Board of Education election TODAY (May 20) from 6 AM to 9 PM, at the Town of Marlborough Court Room, which is located at 21 Milton Turnpike. Please join us in congratulating Marlboro Elementary School teacher Monica Taddeo and Marlboro Central School District School Resource Officer Curt Fulton, who were honored at the Mid-Hudson School Study Council's annual meeting on May 7. Taddeo received a Teaching Excellence Award, and Fulton was presented with a Golden Apple Award. These dedicated and hard-working individuals are integral members of our Dukes team, and they are more than deserving of this recognition. We were thrilled to celebrate them on this very special evening!


Happy National School Nurse Day! Today (May 7) we recognize the compassionate and skilled school nurses who play a vital role in keeping our students healthy, safe, and ready to learn. At the Marlboro Central School District, our nurses do so much more than care for bumps and bruises—they are trusted advocates, educators, and a constant source of comfort for our students and families. The Marlboro Central School District Art Department will be hosting an art show featuring work from students in Grades K-12 at the District Office, which is located at 21 Milton Turnpike. Attention all students in Grades K-5! Hop on over to Marlboro Middle School on Friday, April 11, from 5:30 - 6:30 PM, for a FREE Easter Egg Hunt with the National Junior Honor Society!
There will be plenty of fun, including: face painting, potato sack racing, spoon racing, and of course, the big Easter egg hunt! This is a free event, but donations are always welcome. Don’t miss out—check out the flyer for all the details!


Marlboro Elementary School's Student Ambassadors in Grades 3-5 worked together to create a vibrant friendship display inspired by Maya Angelou’s words: “Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.” This beautiful rainbow, showcased in the main lobby of the school, highlights the key traits of a good friend—kindness, empathy, and support. A daily reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference! We’re so proud of our ambassadors for leading with heart!


It’s National Assistant Principals Week! Let’s give a huge shoutout to Marlboro High School Assistant Principal Anishbell Brennan, Marlboro Middle School Assistant Principal Demian Stanmyer, and Marlboro Elementary School Assistant Principal Sarah Amodeo—plus a special thanks to Edward Spence, who has been filling in as interim assistant principal at the High School while Brennan is on leave. Their leadership and commitment make a difference every day!

Don't forget that Parent/Teacher Conferences will be taking place throughout the District on Thursday, March 27, and Friday, March 28. As a result, there will be no school for Elementary School students ONLY on March 28. Middle and High School students will have a half day.
