It’s that time of year again! Our end-of-year ceremonies are just around the corner. Worried about missing out on the action? We've got you covered. The Grade 5 and Grade 8 Moving-Up Ceremonies on June 26, as well as the High School Commencement Ceremony on June 27, will be broadcast live online for anyone unable to attend in person. Reminder: Wednesday, June 25; Thursday, June 26; and Friday, June 27 will be half days for Marlboro Middle and Elementary School students. On those days, the Middle School will dismiss at 10:20 AM and the Elementary School will dismiss at 11:20 AM. Marlboro High School will follow its end-of-year testing and proctoring schedule on those days.

Reminder: The Marlboro Central School District will be closed on Thursday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. Also known as Freedom Day, this national holiday commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and honors the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.

Kudos to our Students of the Month for May, who were honored during last week's Board of Education meeting! Congratulations to Matthew Ciarimboli from Marlboro High School and Christopher Perkowski from Marlboro Elementary School. Marlboro Middle School's Student of the Month was not present at the meeting and will be honored next month. Additionally, Grace Cerone, Marlboro Elementary School's April Student of the Month, was recognized after being absent from last month’s meeting.

This is a reminder that the Marlboro Central School District will be closed on Monday, May 26, in honor of Memorial Day. In addition, Friday, May 23, is a snow day "give back" day and schools will be closed. Enjoy the time off and please keep in mind all those who served and sacrificed their lives in the armed forces.

While you're out voting today (May 20) at 21 Milton Turnpike, don’t forget to check out the Districtwide Art Show, on display throughout the hallways of the Central Office building. An opening reception celebrating our student artists will take place from 5-7 PM. The show, which features a wide variety of artwork created by students in Grades K-12, will be on view through May 27.

The Marlboro community is encouraged to participate in the school budget vote and Board of Education election TODAY (May 20) from 6 AM to 9 PM, at the Town of Marlborough Court Room, which is located at 21 Milton Turnpike.
