Kudos to our two Duke athletes who competed in the Adidas Track Nationals this past weekend! Victoria Maher placed fifth in the Hammer Throw, with a throw of 140.58, earning an All-American designation. She also placed fifth in Discus, with a throw of 124.93, earning another All-American designation. Meanwhile, Juliana Juras took first place in Discus, earning the National Championship and All-American designations. Go, Dukes!
Congratulations to Alex McAteer and Kalista Birkenstock, who have been named this year’s Mid-Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) Senior Scholar-Athlete Award recipients for Marlboro High School! The awards, which are given to one female and one male student from each school in the League, are based on athletic performance and academic merit. Alex and Kalista were honored during the MHAL's 26th annual Senior Scholar-Athlete Celebration in Kingston on June 10. Go Dukes!
