We would like to inform our Marlboro families that work being performed as part of the Bayside Construction Project, which is located near Marlboro Middle School, will require intermittent blasting over the next several weeks.
Here’s what you need to know:
- The blasting site is located at 18 Birdsall Avenue in Marlboro.
- Blasting will occur on Mondays through Fridays, between 7 AM and 5 PM.
- Blasting will be limited to twice a day and will not occur on holidays or weekends.
- The blasting is expected to last 60 days, beginning in September and continuing through October.
The blasting company has assured us that all necessary safety precautions will be in place and the impact on students, faculty, and staff will be minimal.
To help limit any disruptions to the school day, we are encouraging parents to speak to their Middle and Elementary School students about the possibility that they might hear some noises and/or feel slight vibrations associated with the blasting at various times throughout the school day.
