Marlboro Elementary School will host the 1,000 Book Festival on Saturday, October 24, from 10 AM to 3 PM. This free community event will bring children and families together for a day celebrating literacy, imagination, and the joy of reading.
Families can enjoy a variety of activities, including singing, costumed characters, arts and crafts, local vendors, food trucks, and opportunities to meet authors and illustrators. With books and activities for a variety of interests, the festival aims to inspire a love of reading among young learners and their families.
Every child will have the opportunity to take home a book. The first 450 children through the door will receive a $15 book voucher to select a book of their choice. Children will also have the special opportunity to meet an author or illustrator and take home a signed book.
Admission is free, and all families are welcome to attend.
