The earth and colorful hands with the words Diversity Night 2026

Marlboro Middle School (MMS) is excited to host one of its most anticipated events of the year—Diversity Night! Each year, our school community gathers for an unforgettable evening dedicated to celebrating the cultures, traditions, and backgrounds that make MMS such a vibrant and welcoming place. Through delicious food, meaningful artifacts, traditional clothing, music, and stories from around the world, Diversity Night provides a special opportunity for students and families to learn from one another, build connections, and honor the rich diversity within our school community. In past years, more than 275 community members have attended, and we look forward to welcoming even more families this year.

This year’s event will take place on Thursday, March 12, from 5:30-7:30 PM at Marlboro Middle School. Families and friends are warmly invited to participate by hosting a table that showcases their heritage. Participants may share food, artifacts, photographs, or traditional attire that represent their cultural background. Whether you choose to host a table or attend to explore and learn, all families are encouraged to be part of this meaningful evening. Those interested in hosting a table are asked to complete the sign-up form by Wednesday, March 5. For additional information, please call (845) 236-5840.

In addition to the cultural displays, the MMS ENL Department will host its quarterly Family Fun Night in the Innovation Center. Families can enjoy hands-on activities such as painting and planting planters, making the evening interactive and engaging for all ages. Throughout the night, guests will also be treated to live entertainment in the gymnasium, featuring performances by the Farrell Sherkin Irish Dancers, Mariachi Viva Mexico, and the Marlboro Middle School Jazz Band.

Please note that students must be accompanied by an adult to attend. We look forward to an evening filled with celebration, learning, and connection. Join us as we come together to experience the world at Marlboro Middle School.
