On January 9, the Marlboro Central School District (MCSD) welcomed New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) President Melinda Person for a visit to classrooms across the District. The tour was part of NYSUT’s ongoing effort to visit schools statewide and gain a firsthand look at the innovative and engaging work taking place to support student learning.
During her visit, Person observed classrooms at multiple grade levels, where she saw students actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences and educators using a variety of instructional approaches to meet the needs of all learners. The visit provided an opportunity to highlight the dedication of Marlboro educators and the collaborative environment that supports student success throughout the District.
The District extends its sincere appreciation to the Marlboro Faculty Association leadership for organizing and leading the classroom tours. Their coordination ensured a thoughtful and comprehensive look at the work happening in our schools and helped showcase the strong partnership between educators, union leadership, and the District. The MCSD is grateful for the opportunity to share its classrooms and celebrate the daily efforts of its teachers and staff to inspire and engage students.
