Marlboro Elementary School students once again paid tribute to our local heroes by inviting former and active military service members from the community to join in this year’s Veterans Day celebration on November 10. The honored guests began their morning with a warm welcome in the library, where they enjoyed a delicious breakfast and shared stories from their time in the military.
Following breakfast, the school hosted a heartfelt assembly to honor these brave men and women. Students introduced the veterans, performed patriotic songs, and expressed their gratitude through words and music. The celebration concluded with students personally thanking each veteran with handshakes, fist bumps, and handmade cards—a touching gesture that reflected the school community’s deep appreciation for their service and sacrifice.
