Let’s give one last ROARING round of applause to the incredibly talented cast and crew of Marlboro Middle School’s production of The Lion King Jr., which lit up the stage on May 2 and 3!
From the heart and humor of Blake Sullivan as Pumbaa and Eli Ortiz as Timon, to the powerful presence of Mikal Sanchez as Simba and Jacob Pritchard as Mufasa, every performance was unforgettable.
Carson Upshaw captured hearts as Young Simba, while Gianna Joachim brought grace and strength to the role of Nala. Nikil Gowda’s Zazu kept things in line, and Milan Johnson delivered a chilling portrayal of Scar. The spiritual wisdom of Rafiki was beautifully portrayed by both Annalise Vittoria and Whitney Warden.
A huge thank you to director Danielle Small, whose vision and leadership brought the Pride Lands to life in the Middle School's very own auditorium.
Bravo to everyone involved in this magical production—from the cast and crew to the backstage heroes and supportive families. You made Marlboro proud!
