It is with great pride that we announce that two of our Marlboro High School seniors, Sophia Dunn and Zachary Moran, have been invited to sing with the prestigious New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) All-State vocal ensembles.
Sophia will be performing in the Vocal Jazz Ensemble and Zachary in the Mixed Chorus. Last spring, these singers—along with many other Marlboro musicians—competed in a rigorous NYSSMA Solo Festival competition. They received scores that placed them among the top high school vocalists in the State.
We are honored that they will represent the Marlboro Central School District at the 2023 NYSSMA Winter Conference in Rochester, New York from November 30 through December 3.
