Students and staff wearing red

Marlboro Middle School (MMS) students and staff went all out for Red Ribbon Week this year! The school community came together to celebrate the week-long drug abuse prevention campaign by participating in various theme days and activities.

On Monday, October 23, the middle schoolers wore Marlboro gear to prove that “Dukes Don’t Do Drugs.” Tuesday had everyone seeing double with “Twin Day,” and on Wednesday, MMS was a sea of red as everyone rocked the bold color to “Rally in Red and Stand Up to Drugs.” Things took a cozier turn on Thursday, as the Dukes came to school wearing their comfiest pajamas to help “Put Drugs to Sleep.” On Friday, students were tasked with “Scaring Drugs Away” by wearing their Halloween costumes.

Shout out to MMS School Nurse Janine Beck and members of the Student Council for organizing this important week!
