Congratulations to the Marlboro Girls Golf team on being named Section IX Champions and for qualifying for the team round at the New York State Championship next weekend! A special shoutout to freshman Alexa Trapani, who qualified for States for the third time! Her impressive score of 78 on May 27 bumped her up to third place overall. Let’s cheer on the Dukes as they head to States next weekend!

Kudos to our Students of the Month for May, who were honored during last week's Board of Education meeting! Congratulations to Matthew Ciarimboli from Marlboro High School and Christopher Perkowski from Marlboro Elementary School. Marlboro Middle School's Student of the Month was not present at the meeting and will be honored next month. Additionally, Grace Cerone, Marlboro Elementary School's April Student of the Month, was recognized after being absent from last month’s meeting.

Congratulations to our Marlboro High School student-athletes who competed at the Mid-Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) Track & Field Championships on May 22 at Rondout Valley High School. We are proud to share that the Varsity Boys team placed 3rd out of 16 teams and the Varsity Girls team tied for 6th place. Kudos to the following individual MHAL Champions: Boys 4x100m Relay Team – Dan Maher, Karron Bond, Jason Oneto, Sean Robertson; Boys 200m Dash – Dan Maher; Boys Pole Vault – Sean Robertson; Girls Pole Vault – Timber Jackson. While you're out voting today (May 20) at 21 Milton Turnpike, don’t forget to check out the Districtwide Art Show, on display throughout the hallways of the Central Office building. An opening reception celebrating our student artists will take place from 5-7 PM. The show, which features a wide variety of artwork created by students in Grades K-12, will be on view through May 27.
