Congratulations to Marlboro High School students Devin Brooks, Sophia Dunn, and Janice Werba, who had the honor of performing in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Zone 9 Area All-State Music Festival at Tri-Valley Secondary School in Grahamsville, N.Y. on November 18 and 19. Devin and Sophia were members of the Mixed Chorus, and Janice performed in the Treble Chorus.
In order to earn a place in these elite ensembles, students have to take part in a highly competitive solo audition process the previous spring. Those with high scores are able to apply for a spot in Area All-State.
We are incredibly proud of these vocalists for all that they have accomplished!
