Forty-four sophomores and juniors were inducted into the Marlboro High School chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) during a candlelit ceremony on April 27. 

The new inductees are: Alexander Antonelli, Jameson Birkenstock, Kalista Birkenstock, Devin Brooks, Miles Brooks, Samantha Carpenter, Luca Ceriello, Kailey Curtis, Matthew D’Angelis, Isabella DeSantis, Claire Devine, Sophia Dunn, Abigail Gaer, Aidan Gattuso, Madison Gibney, Fallon Grace, Kathryn Greiner, Leah Gunsett, Elizabeth Koenig, Amanda Kunkel, Emersyn Lazar, Audrey Lee, Carson Macur, Alex McAteer, Deni Melendez, Sophia Montalbano, Sal Montaperto, Khalia Moore, Khalil Moore, Khlanan Moran, Mitchell Neer, Nnadozie Okasi, Hannah Polumbo, Thomas Rusk, John Ryder, Harrison Solomon, John Cavanaugh, Alivia Herrera, Jose Iraola Ceely, Maxwell McKiever, Mary Raia, Andrew Schmidt, Jasmine Taylor, and Gabriella Williams.

MHS Principal Ryan Lawler, Assistant Principal Jena Thomas, and National Honor Society Advisor Janice DeQuarto were all in attendance at the event and praised the students for their perseverance and dedication over the last few challenging years. In addition, NHS officers spoke about the guiding principles of scholarship, service, character, and leadership that each member had demonstrated to earn this honor.
