Five Marlboro High School students have been selected to participate in the NYSSMA Zone 9 Area All-State Festival, which will take place November 20 and 21 at Tri-Valley Secondary School.
The students, who are members of Katie Budryk and Eric Braunstein's music classes, earned their selections based on their outstanding scores on NYSSMA solo evaluations last spring. Their achievement reflects their dedication to music and commitment to developing their musical talents.
Representing Marlboro High School will be Grade 12 student Timber Jackson, who was selected for Symphonic Band as a contrabass clarinetist. Grade 11 students Lucy Cannizzaro and Amelia Kovaci were selected for Treble Choir as altos, while Hudson Maloney and Isabella Pellegrino were selected as sopranos.
Marlboro Central School District congratulates these five students on this well-deserved recognition and wishes them continued success at the festival.
