A message regarding attendance notifications
To all Parents, Guardians, and Students;
Attendance Matters
School attendance is both a right and a responsibility. Marlboro Schools recognize that consistent school attendance is one of the primary factors in student success. The district maintains a comprehensive student attendance policy, 7110, to ensure consistent attendance at school.
Attendance Notifications begin on September 14 (Parent Square)
Please be advised that attendance notifications for all schools is scheduled to begin the week of September 14, 2026. A tardy notification will go out for all schools daily at 11:15 am. An absence notification will go out for all schools at 5:15 pm.
We are in the process of preparing Parent Square for these “auto” notifications which will come via text, email and the Parent Square app. The auto notifications are available in several languages. Additionally, parents will be able to use a link in the message to communicate an excuse for the absence. A sample message is below for your information.
