The Pirates of Penzance poster

The Marlboro High School (MHS) Drama Club is excited to invite the community to its upcoming spring production of The Pirates of Penzance, the beloved comic operetta by Gilbert and Sullivan.

Filled with witty dialogue, memorable music, and plenty of swashbuckling fun, The Pirates of Penzance tells the story of Frederic, a young man mistakenly apprenticed to a band of soft-hearted pirates. As Frederic approaches his 21st birthday, he faces a series of humorous twists involving love, loyalty, and an unusual sense of duty. With its fast-paced comedy and iconic musical numbers, the show promises an entertaining experience for audiences of all ages.

Students have been working diligently for weeks—rehearsing music, perfecting choreography, building sets, and preparing costumes—to bring this lively production to the stage. Their hard work and dedication will be on full display during three exciting performance days in March.
