Congratulations to Marlboro High School students Noah Ernst (Senior – Tenor), Gianna Faricellia (Senior – Soprano), Timber Jackson (Junior – Alto), and Amelia Kovaci (Sophomore – Alto), who had the honor of performing in the New York State Music Association (NYSSMA) Zone 9 Area All-State Music Festival on November 21 and 22 at Cornwall High School. Noah, Gianna, and Timber performed with the Mixed Chorus, while Amelia performed with the Treble Chorus. The weekend concluded with incredible back-to-back concerts showcasing the culmination of all their meticulous preparation.
To earn a place in these elite ensembles, students must complete a highly competitive solo audition process the previous spring. Those who receive high scores are eligible to apply for a spot in the NYSSMA Area All-State ensembles.
