Nicole Petrakis, Manager of Recruiting Operations for Here's Help Staffing & Recruiting in Middletown, recently visited Kristen Becker’s Career and College Planning class at Marlboro High School for two engaging sessions focused on career readiness and professional development.
On October 9, Petrakis led an interactive workshop on interview etiquette, professional appearance, and essential soft skills, providing students with valuable insights into how to present themselves confidently during job interviews. She returned with a colleague on October 22 to conduct mock interviews, allowing students to apply what they learned in a realistic setting and receive constructive, personalized feedback.
These hands-on experiences gave students the opportunity to refine their communication skills and better understand what it takes to make a strong first impression with potential employers.
