Our reading buddies are coming! Our reading buddies are coming! That was the statement that echoed throughout Monica Taddeo’s classroom at Marlboro Elementary School last week as the Grade 3 students eagerly anticipated the arrival of Rebecca Auchmoody and Kitrina Bellucci’s Grade 1 class. The older students were excited to meet their reading buddies and share some of their favorite stories with them. The idea of this activity is to help encourage all students to become more active and confident readers.
