It was a bittersweet day in Marlboro on May 20, as "Project Monarch" came to an end. After raising butterflies from caterpillars, Kindergarten students in Rachel Vallone's class gathered outside to bid their winged friends farewell. The students watched and waved as the butterflies were released one by one to fly off into their new, natural habitat.
