Students in the Planetarium

Astronomy is an important part of the Grade 1 curriculum, and the Marlboro Central School District is proud to be able to provide students with an experience that is out of this world! Grade 1 classes from Marlboro Elementary School were excited to visit the Marlboro High School (MHS) Planetarium last week. The aspiring young astronomers observed the night sky, identified constellations, and experienced a flying tour of the solar system, with stops at each planet. MHS Science Department Chair and Planetarium Director Robert DeMarco is looking forward to welcoming more grade levels to the Planetarium in the future!
