A student holds a fire hose as a firefighter looks on

Marlboro Elementary School students had an exciting time during Safety Day on October 10, held in recognition of Fire Prevention Week.

The young Dukes learned important fire safety skills, including how to safely exit a burning building—even through a window—and got an up-close look at fire trucks and the tools firefighters use. The day’s highlight was getting to spray a real fire hose!

A big thank-you to the Marlborough, Milton, and Middle Hope Fire Departments for providing our students with such a fun, hands-on fire safety learning experience!
