Two students holding stuffed lions

On September 12, Kindergarten students at Marlboro Elementary School were treated to free vision screenings by visiting members of the Marlboro-Milton Lions Club. Using their

Spot Vision Screener, the Lions sat across from each student and asked them to look into the camera without blinking. The photo of the student’s eyes quickly provided information on the potential presence of common vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.

As a reward for their participation, each student received a stuffed lion to take home.

Thank you to these generous community volunteers for this eye-opening experience!
