No Place for Hate

Marlboro Elementary School (MES) is officially “No Place for Hate!” A group of administrators, teachers, students, and staff traveled to Schenectady last week to attend a ceremony at the Proctor’s Theater. During the ceremony, MES was presented with an award by the Anti-Defamation League confirming that it had met all of the requirements to be designated as a No Place for Hate school.

The No Place for Hate initiative was launched at MES this year. The nationwide program supports schools in their efforts to celebrate diversity, promote respect for differences, and challenge bullying and bias at all levels.

Congratulations to everyone who worked hard to help cultivate a culture of respect and kindness, and foster a safe and welcoming learning environment for all!
