Link Leader Initial Training:
June 20, from 11:30 to 2:00.
Link Leader Training for Orientation:
August 27 and 28, 7:30 to 12:30
August 30, 7:30 to 12:30
Due to the intensity of the training and the need for experiential learning, if you cannot attend any of the trainings, you will be unable to be a Link Crew Leader.
We work with the athletic department to make sure students athletes can also participate.
Orientation is a combination of opening and closing assemblies
and a small group session of 8-10 freshmen with 2 Link Leaders.
Link Crew Leaders are juniors and seniors who have been specially trained to run our Orientation program and to mentor the freshmen throughout the year.
Link Crew Leaders will contact the freshmen and personally invite them to our Orientation and will help them navigate the high school.
Link Crew Leaders will provide ongoing social and emotional support for their freshmen throughout the school year.
A combination of structured and leader initiated follow ups will provide opportunities for students to establish relationships with their peers.
2018 Link Crew Leader Application Deadline is April 20th for the 2018-19 school year.
