Mrs. Ferrara

Welcome to Adventures!

I would like to share a little bit about me. This is my thirteenth year teaching students with disabilities. I graduated from Marist with a dual certification in General Education and Students with Disabilities for grades 1-6.

After Marist, I attended SUNY New Paltz for my Masters Degree in Literacy (K- Grade 6). During this time I also extended my Students with Disabilities Certification to include Birth - Grade 2.

I have also had the honor of being chosen by Marlboro School District to attend Lesley University where I studied Fountas and Pinnells Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI). Implementing LLI into the classroom has been successful and I am very pleased with the program and recieve positive feedback from parents and staff. I have also had the honor to recieve Ortan Gillingham Training. Teaching the love of reading is a passion of mine.

***Due to the Conona Virus, here is a link of all the websites the school provides. In addition you can always access the websites I have sent home such as Epic, E-Spark, Raz-Kids and Splash Math. I will be sending home another copy of all their websites with their usernames and passwords. Please check Class Dojo for daily updates and your e-mails for assignments. I also will have "office hours" htroughout the week. If you need to set up a meeting or a google meet please just message me. Most importantly stay healthy! We will make it through together.
