About our school...

The school is structured under the middle school philosophy, which incorporates teaming.  Teachers work as a team to meet the need of students.  grouping and scheduling can be determined by the teams.  There are five teams in our school.  The two sixth grade teams are the Bridge team and the Gold Team.  The seventh grade has two teams: the Red and Blue Teams.  The eighth grade teams are the Blue and Green Teams.  For more information you may want to visit their pages directly.

Along with all other public schools in New York State, Marlboro Middle School is working toward aligning its curriculum, assessment procedures, and student expectations with the highter standards put forth by the State Education Department.  In order to meet this challenge, and best prepare our students for the twenty-first centrury, a great deal of time and diligence on the part of educators, students and communities will be needed.  Two new assessments at the middel school level are the English Language Arts and Math assessments.  Throughout the school year, staff has been preparing our students for these tests.  Both of these exams will be given to eighth grade students during the first week of June.  For more information on this and other school related topics, please continue to check our website, attend school functions and read all communications sent home by the school.
