From September until January, first grade students meet with the Early Intervention Reading teacher, one-on-one, to work on reading skills. The focus is on phonological skills, reading, high frequency words and writing.
From February until June, Kindergarten students meet with the Early Intervention Reading teacher in small groups. The focus is on letter names, letter sounds, phonemic awareness and writing.
