Grades K-2: Existing School

§         One-story addition for full day kindergarten (approx.10,000 square feet).

§         Building renovations, including expanding the library/media center, upgrades to the gymnasium, new bathrooms, replacing windows and doors, storage, and kitchen improvements.

§         Upgrade/replace building systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical; asbestos abatement; and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) code compliance issues.

§         Technology upgrades such as computer equipment and wiring, phone system, and security.

§         General building improvements, including lighting, painting, and window screens, etc.

§         Site work such as reconfigured main entrance from Rt. 9W (with the addition of a traffic light), new bus loop and parent drop-off traffic pattern, new parking, relocation of play areas, sidewalks, drainage improvements, etc.

Grades 3-5: New Addition

§         Two-story addition to separately house Grades 3-5 (approx. 45,000 square feet).

§         Remove existing modular classrooms.

§         New library/media center.

§         New full-size gymnasium, with stage area.

§         New cafeteria and kitchen.

§         New science lab.

§         New art, music, special education, academic intervention services (AIS), occupational/physical therapy (OT/PT), speech, and other resource classrooms.

§         New furniture and equipment (desks, chairs, computer equipment, etc.)

§         Separate entrance, main office, nurses’ office, parent conference room.

§         Site work such as separate parking lot, new traffic pattern, play areas, sidewalks, drainage improvements, etc.
