 Welcome to the world of mathematics with Mr. Koonz. At the moment, the Sequential 1 course is being phased out and the Math A course is taking it's place as per N. Y. State Standards. Math A is still covering the material of Sequential I as well as half of Sequential II. Why the change you ask, well Math A will emphasize problem-solving rather than memorization of random facts. The emphasis will be on application of facts rather than rote memorization.

The year 2000-2001 was a very interesting year in all my classes, our goals for the year were aimed at trying to meet the new state standards. Check out the links to see how we tried to accomplish our goals.
